Set on Cammeraygal land overlooking Sydney’s Middle Harbour, this sculptural Mosman home is deeply shaped by its surrounding environment. Defined by a rhythmic and fluid architectural form, the undulating roofline echoes the movement of the ocean beyond, while the landscape grounds the home within the natural character of the site.

Mature Angophoras with their striking salmon-coloured trunks frame views and create a powerful connection between architecture, harbour and bushland. The landscape design celebrates the site’s existing sandstone outcrops and carefully reuses sandstone foundations reclaimed from the original house, refashioning them into elegant seating walls immersed within the garden. Native, biodiverse planting supports local habitat and encourages native birds, blue-banded bees and skinks, creating a dynamic landscape alive with movement and seasonal change.

Closer to the house, the pool terrace adopts a more refined modernist character, drawing on a restrained mid-century palette and materiality. Together, architecture and landscape create a home that feels both grounded and immersive — a place intrinsically connected to nature, light and the harbour setting.
